What happened to the MU? I know it happened a long time ago now, but I hadn't been on there in awhile before it closed.

So Basically it went down like this,
It started with the servers that hosted Madness Union undergoing an update that fragged the data-tables for the forum. Luckily Gunner had kept a back up, although it was several months old, and a lot of people had to re-register. But for a while we had Madness Union back up to its old speed.
Then Lemming77, The other founder along with Gunner, announced that he was bored with Madness in general, and always having to police the various flame wars that sprouted between the members, eventually he left and the forum, just, died....
There were a few people who kept posting everynow and then. Me, Loen Teh Leet, Grunt211, Gunner, and Droogie mainly. We sat and posted and dealt with the various spammers who came and attacked almost on a weekly basis.
Just when I thought we might breath a spark of life into the old forum, the worst happened.
The Data-Tables suffered a complete and total frag, backups included, Leaving Madness Union with a few disjointed images, if that. So Gunner posted in the Steam Community about it being down, and how he was trying to fix it, then told me later what had happened.
"The Entire thing is gone, and neither Lemming or myself can be assed to bring it back." Were his general words to me.
I asked if Madness Union was well and Truly dead. He replied with that it was and that we had a good run, and so, we buried Madness Union among some tears, some jeers, and who the fuck cares.
And thats how it died,
